Barry Comprehensive School welcomed new and returning pupils to school this week

The new Year 7 pupils began their first day with a special assembly before finding their way to their new classroom and meeting their new teachers.

Meanwhile, the new Year 12 students spent their first day on a new induction programme that included drama, study, coaching and team-building activities.

The whole year group had fun with the tasks which acted as a great ice-breaker.

This year saw a massive intake into Year 12, with students from all the local secondary schools choosing to continue their studies at Barry Comprehensive.
