Barry Comprehensive School pupils recently competed in Brecon in the Welsh Interschools Cross Country Championships.
The boys, running in three age categories, competed against schools throughout the whole of Wales,
The junior team members were Joseph Hewings, Harry Carter, Tom Pitman and Ethan Lovell and the middle team members were Gareth Hurman, A J Harrhy and John Wardle.
The senior team of Matthew Edwards, Elliot Clissold, Matthew Collins, Jack Bloomfield, Curtis Hayes and Gareth Crapnell had great success, being awarded the team silver medal whilst Matthew Edwards gained the individual 4th position in the senior boys age group.
