A group boys from Barry Comprehensive School braved the cold recently to take part in a visit to the Storey Arms Outdoor Activity Centre in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The boys experienced caving at Porth Yr Ogof, gorge walking along the River Mellte near Ystradfellte and kayaking and canoeing on the River Wye.
The activities were physically demanding and challenging but the boys overcame their fears gaining success in a whole new field of learning and experienced enjoyment, comradeship and adventure!
