Visit to Paris

Just before Christmas, 40 pupils from years 8 to 11 visited Paris with Mrs Thomas, Miss Jenkins and Mr Jones to experience the Parisian Christmas markets.

After leaving Barry at midnight the pupils spent an afternoon at the markets, where they tasted traditional French food and bought Christmas gifts.

hey later had a tour of Paris by night, taking in sights like the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower.

A highlight for many was the day at Euro Disney, where pupils rode rollercoasters, visited the haunted house and even saw snow fall during the special Christmas parade led by Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

On the final day the pupils went on a boat trip down the river Seine and spotted the famous landmarks of Paris, like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral.

The teachers would like to thank all of the pupils who participated for their excellent behaviour.
