| Curtis Piles Up The Medals |
Barry Comprehensive School Year 7 pupil Curtis Fowler is enjoying an excellent 2004/5 Badminton season.
Curtis, a member of the Wales U13 squad, has represented his country against Ireland in the Dublin Open and has been selected to play against Scotland in the Celtic Challenge.
This comes after competing in six English Junior Challenge Tournaments which resulted in a haul of three silver and three bronze medals and competing in six Welsh Shuttle Series Tournaments achieving an even more impressive two gold and four silver medals. To cap it off Curtis was awarded the trophy for the Most Promising Player.
Closer to home, Curtis also won the South Glamorgan Closed Tournament.
Well done Curtis, we all look forward to more medals next season!
