| Robert Reaches Great Heights |
Former Barry Comprehensive School student Robert Lamey has reached great heights in the exciting world of rock climbing.
Robert, who started climbing whilst still at school, took a gap year before University to travel the world in pursuit of his sport, climbing throughout Europe and America. Robert is trained by Andy Long, the British Climbing Team coach, and climbs at least four days a week indoors and out as part of a gruelling training regime. The hard work has paid off with good results in national competitions this year. Robert placed 6 th in the British Leading Competition and 5 th in the British Bouldering Competition.
