Another prize for our own TV station BCTV was added to the growing collection – this time an award for ‘Best Regional Film’ and a cheque for £100 – for the Year 7 cross country film, shot with this year’s Year 7s back in September.

George Crowther, Sam Adamson, Andrew Emery and Alex Parker were at the Media4Schools Awards 2009 in Cineworld, Cardiff last week, to pick up the prize.
George, Sam and Andrew and a handful of other Year 12 pupils are working with BCTV as part of their Welsh Baccalaureate qualification. As well as collecting the award on behalf of BCTV, the boys were also involved in assisting Media4Schools with the awards ceremony and the Media4 staff made a special effort to compliment them on their fantastic attitude and their invaluable help during the afternoon’s proceedings.
