ESTYN, the school’s inspection body in Wales are introducing a new inspection process for all schools from September 2010.

Barry Comprehensive School were recently asked to provide opportunities for a film crew to visit the school. The aim was to produce training videos of excellent lessons which were to be shown to inspectors.

Four lessons were filmed in different curriculum areas and the results pleased the ESTYN representative, who praised the staff involved for delivering such innovative and stimulating lessons.
