Barry Comprehensive School 's Creative Arts Faculty are always looking for new ways to entertain their audiences and their “Reflections” evening was certainly an original step forward. The programme comprised of words, music and song on the theme of love. Extracts from plays such as Blood Brothers, Shirley Valentine and Romeo and Juliet were performed alongside the music of Gershwin, Elton John, Kurt Neill and Schubert. Singers and actors created a delightful night, reflecting on love through poetry, drama and song.

There were some new faces on the stage this year, with the ongoing focus of showcasing the gifted and talented at Barry Comprehensive. Paige O'Sullivan, Zara Siddique, Maria Sandberg, Liam Kelly, Alex Parker, Luke Elworthy and Callum Hazelton making their debut performances and rising to the occasion effortlessly.

The Drama and Music departments hope to make this an annual event, reflecting on different themes every year.
