Barry Comprehensive School was invited to lay a wreath at the Barry Merchant Seamen Memorial during the Remembrance Day Service yesterday.

Year 7 pupils Mitchell Thorngate, Cameron Gibbon and Lewis Froud did an excellent job of representing the school during the formal ceremony at the Civic Offices.

Two minutes silence was also observed during lessons to mark the occasion.
