'Robin Hood'

Last week we saw the superb performance of Barry Comprehensive Schools’ school pantomime, “Robin Hood” which was directed by Audra Ellis and starred both students and staff working alongside each other on stage.

This year we used the magic of time travel to see 3 key moments in Robin’s life who was played by the very talented, Bradley Miller, Nick Currie and Bradley Simpkins, which showed flashbacks from Robins unconventional upbringing, with parents Mr Piekielniak and Tinkabell (Karen Walters), to his first date with the lady Marion, played by exchange student Maria Sandberg.

The Sheriff who was played by the extremely comical Mr Pereira, was also played by Adam Owens and Hayden Pullum, in the characters painful memory flashbacks. And we can’t forget to mention the hilariously memorable performance given by PE staff, Mr Williams, Mr Hutton and Mr Allen.

This year also saw some final performances of some of our regular favourites in year 13. We would like to say you will be missed, but never forgotten and we are glad to see them passing the creative torch, to a whole new generation of hidden talent, within the school.

Mrs Ellis would like to take this opportunity to say a huge well done to the whole cast (both on and off stage) who all worked extremely hard and gave yet again a suberb performance.

Its not my fault I'm bad, its just the way I'm written.

Lady Marion's Crew

And remember, this was the night you were robbed by...Robin Hood
To me, to you, to me, to you…

Its not fair, every time they make a Robin Hood panto,
they burn down our village!
