Barry Comprehensive pupils displayed their culinary skills again this year by taking part in the Rotary Young Chef of the Year Competition.

The dishes prepared by all the competitors were to a very high standard, making the judging very difficult. Barry Comprehensive’s Jordan Clarke took first place with a menu of Leek and Potato followed by stuffed chicken breast wrapped in pancetta and finishing with Banoffee pie with sweet toffee sauce.

Congratulations to all the competitors and good luck to Jordan, who now moves onto the area final.
